Fine motor skills are a very mportant skill. These days children are expected to be able to hold and use a pencil on the first day of kindergarten (at most schools). But fine motor practice doesn't have to be drudgery! Here in Ms.Kelly's Capitol Hill Preschool class she uses gems, buttons, google eyes and other fun materials for her students to make the letter of the week.
