This is a sample schedule to give families an idea of how children spend their days at Harvard Avenue School. Actual drop-off and pick-up times are specific to each class and range from 8:00 am-9:15 am/12:00 pm-1:15 pm.

09:00 School opens; drop-off begins. Children have free time in the classrooms
09:45 Morning circle time; group lesson is given
10:15 Morning snack
10:30 Morning recess
11:00 Morning class time (children may work alone, with a partner, in groups, or with a teacher)
12:00 Lunch
12:30 Lunch clean up
12:35 Outdoor Play
12:55 Afternoon story circle as we wait for parents to arrive
01:00 Afternoon dismissal

*Inclement Weather Day Policy - the school will make up days that we are closed due to weather after the first day missed. We will make up the second snow day on Martin Luther King Day. If more snow day make-ups are needed, the teachers will communicate to you how/when they will be made up.
